The vision of Farfelu was to be a modern bistro serving excellent coffee alongside cakes and bread. The branding presents a playful twist on the history of the neighborhood. The cafe opened one month before the first COVID confinement. We resold the cafe in 2021.
I got to design our intricate bar and work with a carpenter to make it. I also worked closely with our graphic designer and social media team to launch our brand in a way that was consistent with our funky attitude.
We had a really good summer in 2020 and a great following, but my business partner and I decided to part ways. I miss the community of local artists and artisans that frequented our little shop.
